Big 8 Embarks on the Yuletide Season
In the Philippines, the Christmas season starts months before the actual Nativity Day of Jesus Christ. Filipinos put up their holiday paraphernalia as early as September and everyone is looking forward for December 25 to come.
To continue the tradition, the tree was again lit last December 6, 2016 for the second time. Last 2015, Big 8 Corporate Hotel’s first Christmas Tree was made bright to welcome the seasons of love and giving. And it was known for its height and it was known to be the tallest tree in the Davao Region on a hotel setting.
The hotel’s business partners and VIPs were invited on the said event. Christmas carols were also sung by the Conexus Harmonia Chorale, the official choir of Tagum City National High School who were the champion in the Festival of Talents 2016- Division and Regional levels, Regional qualifier for NAMCYA 2014, First Runner up in the Musikahan sa Tagum 2014 and 2015 and they are the official choir group of Gaisano Mall of Tagum during their caroling presentation performance last 2015.
Guests were invited to have light snacks and to have a tour around the newly opened Christmas Bazaar. This open market will be opened for 10 days.
DavNor Divas welcomed the visitors with their extra-ordinary talents in singing and in comedic acts. To cap-off the night, staffs and employees had a Zumba session at the main carport of the hotel.
The most wonderful time of the year has certainly arrived in the midst of Big 8 Corporate Hotel.
